Terms of Service

Agreement and operator

These Terms govern your access to and use of Econ Calendar, operated by PriceVault (HK) Limited in Hong Kong. By using the service, starting a trial or purchasing a subscription, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

The service

Econ Calendar provides calendar feeds, dashboards, scheduled economic events, earnings information, watchlists and related alerts. Features depend on your selected plan. You are responsible for choosing your settings and connecting the private feed to a compatible calendar application.

Information only, not financial advice

The service is for general informational and scheduling purposes. It is not investment, trading, legal, tax or other professional advice and is not a recommendation to buy, sell or hold any security. Dates, estimates, actual values, prices and alerts may be delayed, incomplete, revised or incorrect. Verify important information with an official or licensed source before acting.

Access and private links

Your dashboard and calendar-feed URLs are private access credentials. You must keep them confidential and are responsible for activity performed through them. Contact us promptly if you believe a link has been exposed. You may not publish, sell, scrape, share broadly or use a private feed to provide a competing data service.

Free trials

When offered, the Pro trial does not require a payment card and does not automatically charge you. Trial access ends on the date shown in your dashboard unless you separately purchase a subscription. Trial eligibility is generally limited to one trial per email address. You may not evade eligibility controls by creating aliases, automated signups or false identities. We may refuse or end trial access where we reasonably identify abuse.

Subscriptions and billing

Paid plans are recurring monthly subscriptions billed through Stripe. The price and plan are shown before checkout. By subscribing, you authorize Stripe to charge the selected recurring fee and applicable taxes until cancellation. You can cancel future renewals through the billing portal. Cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the paid billing period unless applicable law requires otherwise. Contact chung@econ-calendar.com about billing questions or refund requests. Your mandatory rights under applicable law are not limited by these Terms.

Acceptable use

You must not interfere with or overload the service; bypass rate, trial, access or security controls; probe for vulnerabilities without written authorization; send unlawful or abusive requests; use automated means that impose unreasonable load; access another user’s private feed or dashboard; or use the service in violation of law or third-party rights.

Third-party services and sources

The service relies on third parties including Google, Stripe, email providers, hosting providers, financial-information sources and calendar applications. Their services and terms are outside our control. Linking or connecting a third-party service does not make us responsible for that service.

Availability and changes

We aim to provide a reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access. Maintenance, provider failures, security incidents and events outside our reasonable control may cause disruption. We may change or discontinue features, provided that we will act reasonably with respect to material changes affecting paid subscriptions.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary to address non-payment, misuse, security risk, legal requirements or a material breach of these Terms. You may stop using the service at any time and may request deletion as described in the Privacy Policy. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply.

Disclaimers and liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without implied warranties. PriceVault (HK) Limited is not liable for investment decisions, trading losses, missed events, third-party failures, or indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss arising from use of the service. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limits mandatory consumer rights.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Hong Kong. Subject to any mandatory consumer rights or dispute forum required by law, the courts of Hong Kong have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from these Terms or the service.

Changes and contact

We may update these Terms by publishing a revised version and effective date. We will provide reasonable notice of material changes where appropriate. Questions may be sent to chung@econ-calendar.com.
