Who we are

Econ Calendar is operated by PriceVault (HK) Limited in Hong Kong. Questions and requests about this policy or your personal data may be sent to chung@econ-calendar.com.

Information we collect

• Your email address and the authentication result when you sign in or request an access link.
• Your subscription plan, trial dates, Stripe customer and subscription identifiers, and billing status. We do not store your full payment-card details.
• Your calendar preferences, watchlist, alert settings, time zone, onboarding progress and whether your calendar feed has connected.
• Operational information such as request time, IP address, browser or calendar-client user agent, requested page or feed, and error records.
• Messages you send to us and records needed to answer support, privacy or deletion requests.

Google sign-in data

When you choose Google sign-in, we request only the openid and email scopes. Google provides your verified email address and an authentication result. We use the verified email address to create or find your Econ Calendar trial and give you access to its dashboard. We do not request or access your Gmail, Google Contacts, Google Drive files, or Google Calendar contents through Google sign-in. We do not sell Google user data or use it for advertising.

How we use information

• Provide, personalize and secure your dashboard, calendar feed, watchlist and alerts.
• Start and enforce free-trial eligibility, process subscriptions and maintain billing status.
• Send requested magic links, access links, service notices, trial reminders and enabled alerts.
• Operate, diagnose, protect and improve the service, including preventing abuse and measuring aggregate usage.
• Meet legal, accounting, fraud-prevention and security obligations.

Service providers and sharing

We disclose information only as needed to operate the service, including to Google for authentication, Stripe for payment and subscription processing, our email-delivery provider, hosting and infrastructure providers, and calendar providers you choose to connect. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect users or the service, or as part of a corporate transaction subject to appropriate safeguards. We do not sell personal data.

Private calendar and dashboard links

Your private dashboard and calendar-feed URLs act as access credentials. Anyone who obtains a full private URL may be able to access the associated information or settings. Keep these links private. When you add a feed to a third-party calendar provider, that provider receives and processes the feed URL under its own privacy terms.

Retention and deletion

We retain account and subscription information while needed to provide the service and for legitimate security, fraud-prevention, accounting and legal purposes. Trial records may be retained to enforce one-trial eligibility. Operational logs are retained for a limited period appropriate to security and service diagnosis.

To request access, correction or deletion of your account and trial data, email chung@econ-calendar.com from the address associated with the account. We may ask you to verify control of that address. We will delete or anonymize eligible data and explain any information we must retain by law or for legitimate fraud-prevention, billing or security purposes.

Security and international processing

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal data, including restricted production access and protected private tokens. No internet service can guarantee absolute security. Our providers may process data outside Hong Kong, subject to their contractual and legal safeguards.

Your rights

Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. Hong Kong users may exercise applicable rights under the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance by contacting us.

Changes

We may update this policy as the service or legal requirements change. We will publish the updated policy here and change the effective date. Material changes may also be communicated through the service or by email.
