Hong Kong setup guide
Sync HKEX results to Apple or Google Calendar
Hong Kong results dates live on issuer notices and a consolidated HKEX list. They are easy to miss, and a postponed board meeting can leave a downloaded file out of date. A subscribed calendar keeps official and estimated dates next to the rest of your week in Apple Calendar or Google Calendar. This guide points to the HKEX page we publish and the setup steps for a live feed. Start a Pro trial when you are ready to follow those stocks.
This is a setup checklist for putting Hong Kong results dates on a live calendar, not a ranking of which HKEX stocks move markets. We do not publish a dedicated ticker page for every Hong Kong name. Official issuer announcements remain the authoritative source, and dates can be postponed.

Start with the HKEX results calendar
The Hong Kong earnings calendar lists upcoming HKEX board meetings, interim results and annual results. Official board-meeting dates take priority when an estimate also exists for the same company and period.
Open this page first so you can see what will appear in a subscribed calendar: the stock code, whether the date is official or estimated, and that events are stored as all-day Hong Kong dates unless a reliable clock time exists.
See the Hong Kong earnings calendarUse the HKEX page to confirm the dates before you subscribe.
-
Subscribe in Google Calendar, do not import a file
Google Calendar can subscribe to a private ICS URL. On a computer, add the calendar from URL rather than uploading a downloaded file. The mobile app usually cannot add a new subscription; add it on the web, then it appears on your phone.
A subscription lets Google check the same feed for a new or changed HKEX date. An import copies today's events once, so a postponed board meeting will not move on your calendar.
See Economic Calendar for Google CalendarAdd the feed from URL so later HKEX changes can reach Google Calendar.
-
Subscribe in Apple Calendar on iPhone, iPad or Mac
Apple Calendar uses the same ICS subscription. Add it through iCloud if you want the Hong Kong dates on more than one Apple device. The events stay on the announced Hong Kong calendar day because official board meetings are stored as all-day items.
After you subscribe, look for the new calendar in the Calendars list and make sure it is selected. Importing a file into the Calendar app will not pick up a later postponement.
See Economic Calendar for Apple CalendarKeep HKEX dates on a subscribed Apple calendar, not a one-off import.
-
Use a live ICS feed so postponements can follow
ICS is the calendar file format Apple, Google and Outlook understand. A live feed is a private HTTPS URL ending in .ics that your app can request again. That is a subscription.
Hong Kong issuers can postpone a board meeting. The feed can update the existing event instead of leaving a stale copy on your calendar. Importing the same file once cannot do that.
See Economic Calendar ICS FeedSubscribe to the ICS URL; do not treat a downloaded file as finished.
-
Outlook can subscribe the same way
Microsoft Outlook can add an internet calendar from a URL. That is the Outlook name for a subscription. Choose that option rather than opening or importing an .ics file.
If you already use Outlook for work, the same private feed can show HKEX dates next to your other appointments. Refresh timing is still controlled by Outlook, not by a second download.
See Economic Calendar for OutlookAdd an internet calendar in Outlook so HKEX revisions can arrive.
-
Keep US earnings on the same calendar
A Pro watchlist can include US earnings dates and Hong Kong results in one private feed. You do not need a separate calendar file for each market.
The US earnings hub lists the company pages we currently publish. Use it when you also follow US-listed names, then keep those dates beside the HKEX reminders.
See Stock Earnings DatesFollow both markets in one subscribed calendar instead of two spreadsheets.
-
Example: a US mega-cap next to Hong Kong names
Apple is not an HKEX stock. It is here as a reminder that the same feed can hold a US reporting session and a Hong Kong all-day results date.
If you own names in both markets, one subscription is easier than checking investor-relations pages in two timezones. Treat each date as a company reminder, not a market-wide forecast.
See Apple Earnings DateAdd the US date only if you follow the stock; the HKEX list is separate.
-
Asia hardware dates can sit on the same feed
Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC) is a US-listed name many investors watch for chip demand. It is not an HKEX results date.
If your Asia watchlist includes both Hong Kong issuers and TSMC, putting them on one live calendar avoids a second manual list. The TSMC page shows the stored US-listed date.
See TSMC Earnings DateCalendar TSMC only if you follow it; do not confuse it with an HKEX code.
-
Japan policy hours overlap Hong Kong dates
The Bank of Japan publishes policy-meeting dates that often fall outside US hours. Hong Kong results dates are also easy to miss if you only check a US session calendar.
Keeping BoJ and HKEX on the same subscribed feed is a timezone habit, not a claim that every Japan decision moves Hong Kong stocks. Use each page for its own stored dates.
See Bank of Japan Meeting DatesFollow Asia-hour dates on the same live calendar as HKEX results.
-
Macro dates belong on the same Pro feed
The Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC) decision is a US policy date. It is not a Hong Kong results event. It belongs here because the same Pro calendar can hold both.
If you already follow Fed dates, adding HKEX stocks should not require a second import. Subscribe once, then add the names you want the feed to include.
See FOMC Meeting DatesKeep Fed dates and HKEX dates on one subscription, not two files.
Also watched, not on this list yet
These releases matter too. We do not currently publish dedicated schedule pages for them.
- Individual HKEX ticker pages
- Widely followed names such as Tencent, HSBC or AIA do not currently have dedicated ticker pages here. Use the Hong Kong earnings calendar for supported dates, not an invented company URL.
- Exact publication clock times
- Official board-meeting notices often omit a precise results release time. Those events stay all-day on the Hong Kong date rather than a before-open or after-close label.
- Dividend payment dates
- A board may consider a dividend at the same meeting. Payment dates are a separate schedule and are not numbered items on this page.

Questions about market events
What is an HKEX results date?
In Hong Kong, a results date is usually the board meeting when directors are scheduled to approve interim or annual results and may consider a dividend. Many Main Board issuers do not follow the US quarterly pattern, and the meeting date is not always the exact publication time.
Is this a ranking of Hong Kong stocks?
This is a setup checklist for putting Hong Kong results dates on a live calendar, not a ranking of which HKEX stocks move markets. We do not publish a dedicated ticker page for every Hong Kong name. Official issuer announcements remain the authoritative source, and dates can be postponed.
How do I add HKEX dates to Apple or Google Calendar?
Start a Pro trial, add the Hong Kong stocks you follow, then subscribe to your private ICS feed. In Google Calendar, add the calendar from a URL. In Apple Calendar, open the feed on iPhone, iPad or Mac. Do not import a downloaded .ics file if you want later postponements to appear.
Will the dates update if a board meeting is postponed?
A subscribed feed can receive a revised date the next time your calendar app checks the URL. An imported file will not. Open the Hong Kong earnings calendar if you need the latest stored date immediately. Issuer announcements remain authoritative.
Do you have a page for every HKEX stock?
No. The Hong Kong calendar lists supported results dates from official and estimated sources. We do not publish a dedicated ticker page for every issuer. Use the HKEX calendar for the names we cover, then subscribe rather than bookmarking the page.
