How to add Econ Calendar to Microsoft Outlook

  1. 1

Copy your private ICS subscription URL

After subscribing, open your secure Econ Calendar dashboard and copy the full private URL. Do not post or forward this URL.

  2. 2

    Open Outlook's calendar settings

In Outlook on the web, open Calendar, choose Add calendar, and select Subscribe from web. Labels vary slightly by Outlook version.

  3. 3

    Subscribe from the web

Paste the URL, name the calendar Econ Calendar, choose a color and select Import or Subscribe.

  4. 4

Confirm it appears on your devices

Make sure the new calendar is selected in Outlook. It should also appear in Outlook apps connected to the same Microsoft account.

Automatic updates

How syncing works

Outlook refreshes internet calendars on its own schedule. Subscription is different from importing an .ics file: a subscription can receive future changes, while a one-time import cannot.

Keep your feed URL private

Your URL identifies your subscription. Do not publish it, paste it into public posts, or share screenshots that reveal it.

Upcoming releases included

These dates are rendered from the same database that powers subscriber feeds.

Troubleshooting

Questions about Microsoft Outlook

Should I import the ICS file or subscribe from the web?

Use Subscribe from web. Importing creates a one-time copy and will not receive later schedule changes.

Why do I see the calendar on the web but not desktop Outlook?

Check that desktop Outlook is connected to the same Microsoft account and that the subscribed calendar is enabled in its list.

Will Outlook convert release times to my timezone?

Yes. The feed stores timezone-aware events and Outlook displays them using the timezone configured for your calendar.
